Hi! My name is Tova Rachel Berman, a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with completion of QOM training, dedicated to helping children reach their goals and thrive in their daily lives.
I completed my education with academic honors, earning a Bachelor’s degree from Queens College and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Brooklyn College. I hold national certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed to practice in Florida.
I have worked in both clinical and educational settings, supporting a variety of students with diverse speech and language needs. I have a strong passion for speech sound disorders and orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD), and therefore chose to pursue many hours of advanced training in these topics. My passion for this area has stemmed from my own children’s needs in tongue-tie management, airway concerns, speech sound disorders, and feeding challenges. As a parent with experience, I am compassionate and understand the profound impact these issues have on a child's daily life and overall well-being.
I take pride in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where children can gain confidence, build essential skills, and achieve lasting results. I am committed to addressing root causes to ensure long-term success both in and out of the therapy session.
